Fernando H. F. Botelho was an Associate Director at UBS Philanthropy Services in Zurich where he managed the Visionaris Award, a partnership between Ashoka and the bank in Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico. Before coming to UBS, Fernando worked for the International Trade Centre UNCTAD/WTO, an agency of the United Nations in Geneva. At ITC, Fernando led the development of the first methodology for the integration of professionals with disabilities in the services export sector. Before joining ITC, Fernando was Director of Technology at a New York NGO where he led the development of eSight.org, the first online community focused on the professional advancement of persons with disabilities. Fernando earned a B.A. in sociology from Cornell University and a master in international relations with an international trade concentration from Georgetown University.

Flávia R. S. de Paula managed international events for the World Health Organization in Geneva. She is an expert in distance learning projects and on software-based assistive technologies for persons with motor impairments. The Dasher version of the F123.org USB drive, which brings access to Ubuntu Linux for persons with motor impairments, is her responsibility. Flávia has a degree in dentistry from Universidade de São Paulo (USP) and has a master in public health with a concentration in global health from Yale University.
